I will attempt to summarize this pregnancy in one blog post with a few pictures to help me along the way. I was sick for the first 20 weeks...yuck...and therefore do not have a lot of early pictures. As I've felt better and have been able to act like a human being again, we've been able to have some fun times with friends and devote some time to setting up the nursery.
Here are a few ultrasound pics of the baby along the way...

This was at 5 weeks pregnant...and yes, I promise that's a baby.

12 weeks along...finally starting to look like a baby. The little hand is by his/her mouth.

19 weeks...this was the visit when we had to tell the ultrasound tech NOT to tell us the gender. I'm actually pretty proud of myself because even after Andrew left and I could have found out on my own, I didn't. Coming from someone who used to unwrap and then re-wrap her Christmas presents, I think this is impressive. I'm really glad we don't know the gender now because it's going to make 'D-Day' that much more exciting.
In December our fabulous friends and family threw us a Baby Party to celebrate. It was awesome. We had it at my sister's house in Decatur...a.k.a., the perfect party house...and we had a great time.

Awesome food thanks to my sister's boyfriend, Kyle and the best cupcakes ever made by our friend, Heather. Yum!

My sister, Libby, with my Dad and longtime family friend, Coconut.

30 weeks pregnant! Baby Whatley is very lucky to be joining such a great group of friends and family.
Since we're not finding out the gender of our baby it's actually made decorating quite easy. Our office was already light green in color so other than moving around furniture, we didn't have to change anything. We had an armoire of Andrew's to use as the dresser/closet, a changing table that we got from my friend Peggy and bedding that was given to us by my friend Megan. Win! The only thing missing was a crib....and thanks to Andrew's repeated 'shake tests' at Babies R Us timed with a clearance sale, we were able to find a reasonably priced one that did not succumb to incessant abuse.
Voila! We have a nursery! Now all we need is a baby...

Wait!! You unwrapped your Christmas presents???
